OVER 20,100 PAIRS OF UNDERWEAR DELIVERED SINCE 2019
Kindness Couture was founded in 2019. After realizing the need for underwear in homeless shelters and foster care organizations, we, (siblings Zoe, Lola & Quinn) decided to make it our mission to help people in need feel more comfortable. If you are experiencing homelessness and you are trying to get back on your feet, It's very difficult to go to a job interview while not wearing underwear. Children in foster care are often take from their homes in the middle of the night with no clothing or belongings, imagine how it would feel to have no underwear when your scared and uncomfortable already. By utilizing local businesses, peer ambassadors, school clubs and social media in our community,
we have been able to deliver over 21,000 pairs of new underwear. We have delivered to ChildNet, Communities Connected for Kids,
Showering Love, The Broward Outreach,
The Hands and Feet Delivering Help and Hope, and more.
Our hope is to spread the need for underwear and
to encourage our peers to give back by volunteering.
Sharing Kindness in The Classroom
Kindness Big and Small and Kindness in The Big City were both written to teach young children how to be kind and to give back to their communities. Each time a book is sold, 100% of the proceeds go towards purchasing new underwear for children in foster care and men, women and children experiencing homelessness. We have been so lucky to be able to share our books with our community by visiting local classrooms. We share the story with the children then do a kindness project where the students write ways to be kind on a piece of paper then add it to their kindness board. They keep the board in their classroom to remind them to be kind. Visiting these classrooms has given us the opportunity to talk to the children about the need for underwear in foster organizations
